I'm a divorced working in a restaurant business as well as jewelry
Why have you decided to move to Italy?
I just would like to spend more time with my family especially with my mother, she is 85 years old
What type of process did you go through to be able to move here?
dual citizenship. born and raise in italy i obtain the usa naturalization citizenship in 2005.
What problems did you run into during the initial process and how were you able to fix them ?
i understand both languages fluently
If you haven't gotten here yet, what steps are you in the process of ?
getting my car , renewal of my italian passport
How long have you been here?
i'm not there yet i will be in april/may
What type of adjustment problems have you had?
bureaucratic for sure
What do you wish someone had told you before you made the leap?
nothing really
What inside secret could you pass on to others looking to move over?
italy is beautiful country , but it needs patient and openminded people to be able to leave there , now that i know what living in the USA means.
Do you have any disappointments, things you thought would happen but haven't for whatever reasons ?
no not yet
What has changed about you since you have been here ?
all my friends and family are there

forever is a word that costantly change it's meaning

what agency or what kind of organization help you to get here if any

this site it is great and it's helpful to understand and actually get help from fellow citizens that experienced what you are in. maybe name of agenzy and organization profit or non profit to help resolve issue especially in the bureaucratic field with is the major problem in Italy
